NoEscape Ransomware Can Target Your Facility

NoEscape ransomware used multi-extortion tactics to target the healthcare and public health sector and other industries in 2023.

The HHS Office of Information Security, Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center (HC3), provides an "Analyst Note" about NoEscape ransomware describing how the virus could impact a facility's data. The Note additionally recommends defense and mitigation best practices including regular backups, updating software, using strong passwords, having an incident response plan, avoiding suspicious downloads, implementing network security and more.
