The Risk Management and Patient Safety Department at LAMMICO includes certified risk managers who help you reduce your risk exposure in your practice and improve your defensibility. They will visit your office, evaluate key risk areas and provide tailored recommendations.


LAMMICO’s certified risk managers are available during regular business hours to answer your or your office personnel’s questions concerning medical records, informed consent, patient dismissal, documentation and other topics. Courses targeted to medical office staff are available on the LAMMICO Risk Management products and services website under Medical Interactive (MI). In addition, LAMMICO’s Risk Managers offer educational in-service presentations to LAMMICO policyholders and their office staff. These presentations are based on data from assessments, along with the real world experience of our Risk Managers. Office personnel who take the online courses or who attend live presentations earn the insured physician partial Risk Management Credit.

The Risk Management Reference Guide is a compilation of what we’ve found to be the most useful and requested risk management information for the medical office.
