LAMMICO hosts webinars to assist our insureds with reducing risk exposure by providing education on current important medical topics.

Registration is required. Webinars are provided at no cost to LAMMICO insureds. If possible, please register at least 24 hours in advance of the webinar.

To register for a webinar, log in as a Member at lammico.com/login and select "Online Education & Webinars" from the drop-down menu under your name if you are using a desktop or laptop computer or tablet.

Once you’ve registered for a webinar, you will receive an email from "Webinar Registration" with a link to view the webinar. Use the emailed link to participate in the webinar. You must click the emailed link to join the webinar, even if you plan to participate by telephone. To participate by telephone, click the emailed link to join the webinar first and then call in. 
 

2021-2022 LAMMICO Patient Safety Award and Grant

Hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee are invited to participate in LAMMICO’s annual Patient Safety Award and Grant program. This program promotes patient safety initiatives optimized via LAMMICO risk management and patient safety education. The 2021-2022 Patient Safety Award and Grant program is centered on devastating events such as hurricanes, pandemics, terrorist attacks, or situations in which practitioners may make errors that cause harm or death to a patient.

The hospitals or ambulatory surgery centers that demonstrate the best support mechanisms for staff along with the impact of the interventions on staff or patient safety, as determined by a committee of LAMMICO Risk Management professionals, will be awarded:

  • $10,000 grant to the winner and $5,000 grant to the second place participant to be used for nursing professional development

The winner and second place participant will also receive:

  • One-year risk manager membership to the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM)
  • One-year complimentary membership to Medical Interactive Community for all employees to access our risk management CME/CNE/MOC courses online

Completed applications are due May 31, 2022.
